Members pay dues to National CAP when they join or renew their membership. These funds are used to support National and Wing activities.
In addition, members pay dues to the squadron to support unit activities. Dues are billed each year for the period 1 October through 30 September of the following year (the standard CAP fiscal year).
Requirements
Dues must be paid prior to any of the following:
- Promotion
- Orientation or training flights
- Non-meeting activities
Exemptions
Adult members are not required to pay separate dues when they have an adult member spouse or cadet also in the squadron.
Should the dues cause a hardship for you, please speak with the adult member in charge at your next meeting to discuss the situation. We do not want dues to be the reason you cannot join or continue your membership.
Dues Calculation
Cadet members are billed at $36 per year. Adult members are billed at $60 per year.
When joining, dues are calculated based on the number of full months between your join date as reflected in eServices and the end of the dues period. The table below shows your initial amount due. If you join on the first of the month, use the prior month’s row since that month counts as a full month.

Make you check payable to NH Wing CAP and bring to a meeting or mail to the squadron PO Box:

The easiest way to do this is to use your bank’s bill pay feature and set it up to automatically send the check on an annual basis to arrive 1 July.
PayPal
Note that PayPal charges fee when processing your payment, so please add 3.1% to the amount you send (i.e. $37.12 for cadet members and $61.86 for adult members).
- Log in to your PayPal account
- Choose to send money
- Enter NH Wing of Civil Air Patrol as the recipient. You should see the wing patch as the icon to confirm
- Enter your dues amount (plus 3.1% as noted above)
- Enter Lebanon CAP Squadron Dues followed by the name of the member or members for whom you are paying in the “What’s this for?” box. For example, “Lebanon CAP Squadron Dues for Jane Doe”

While we prefer a check or PayPal, we may be able to accept cash at the regular meetings. Please check with the adult member in charge.
