Lebanon Cadets Get Glider Training

The Lebanon Composite Squadron cadets travelled to Hartness Airport in Springfield, VT on April 22 to receive training in glider flight. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and they were unable to go up in the glider, but they did receive instruction on safety, ground handling of gliders, doing a preflight inspection of a glider, how getting in and out of a glider and an introduction to the tow aircraft.
